Discography Eraser Shavings (2016)Įraser Shavings is the name of Token's third mixtape released for free on their website, as well as being available for purchase on platforms such as iTunes, Spotify, or Tidal. The style of "fast rapping" is also criticized but without content and the rapper Logic is cited as an example with whom Tech does not have a very good relationship. The content of the song revolves around criticism of the "empty lyrics" that currently abound in hip-hop. On FebruToken uploads a video clip to his channel featuring the collaboration of rapper Tech N9ne. In January 2016, he released the continuation of that video, called Still No Sucka MC's, which as of May 2020 has 1.8 million views on YouTube. When a friend found the songs on Token's computer, he suggested that Token post them through YouTube. This became part of his self-therapy for his inexplicable violent outbursts at school and at home. At the age of ten he began recording on the rhythms he had built in GarageBand. The activity of writing in his journal led to the discovery of poetry, which eventually led him to the art of rap. He decided to work tirelessly on his writing skills and learn to master the English language, which resulted in keeping a journal. He went from therapist to therapist and talked to them about it. According to doctors, your brain does not have the ability to process words like normal people. From a very young age, he had a learning disability in which doctors and analysts told his parents that he could never process language and long words.
